Things you should know.

Class Information/Grading/Policies - Click the link to open the first day/open house presentation.

Student Handbook - As a student at this school, you are responsible for knowing the rules and regulations found within this handbook.

Learning is a process.

You will likely reach a point where you face a bit of an uphill battle during your first year of high school.  Stick with it.  If you are committed and willing to seek the help you need, you'll have a great chance at a successful year.

Cell Phones.

A cell phone can easily be a distraction.  If your device is deemed to be a distraction to your learning, you may face consequences ranging from warnings, to forfeiture of phone, to detentions.  If you're unsure of what is okay and what isn't, you should ask Mr. Good.

Respect Everyone and Everything in the Room.

If this cannot be followed, there will be consequences.

Email and Flash Drives Limit Excuses.

You'll have out of class work.  A flash drive is a handy tool to have for this course.  Emailing documents to the teacher is an acceptable way to submit assignments, but be aware that formatting errors may occur during transfer of projects from one computer to another.  I will grade what is received in the condition that it is received.  Due dates still apply to all electronic submissions.

I'm here to help.

Ask questions.  Have a positive attitude.  Limit your frustrations.  Express your concerns.  If you have something going on, feel free to let me know about it, especially if it will be impacting your capacity to complete the required work for class.  I'll be more than happy to help you in any way possible, but that becomes difficult if you don't express your concerns to me.
